I want to thank all of you who have been here with me for a wild and fun run. Your comments and messages have been a joy to read. I have thoroughly enjoyed this whole experience.
My last post will be the Question of the Day and Trivia on October 31st. I will leave the blog in place so that it will still be accessible by everyone to get the answers that are available.
Once again, my great thanks to all of you for being here and I hope, someday, to have another blog you may be interested in.

Hi! I've never commented before, but I wanted to quickly say thanks for all of the help you've given us. I only found this blog a couple months ago, so I'm sorry to see you go, but I wanted to thank you for all of the time you've saved me. It's been so much appreciated. ReplyDeleteRowdydog, WOW I'm still in shock after reading your message. First let me say thank you for all the hard work that you have done with this blog, it must have been a grind at so many times. That hard work did show, this is a very well run blog and you have done so much to keep it interesting with the recent addition of Madcaps and the survey. I have been following you from almost the start and it's been fun to watch the blog grow and change. You've shared with us some of your personal life with your move to Dallas and the new job. Again something that made this so much more than just about Oodles. Boy I understand your frustration with GSN. I've thought so many times myself about calling it a day too, but then they do something to reel me back in again. GSN seems to be stocking better prizes again, iPods, BlueRay players and I even saw a Walmart card in the Kitchen Sink the other day. I hope that you might reconsider, this really again is so much more than just about GSN. I wish you the best, and if I may be so bold to call you my friend, we have never met but like so many of us I feel like a bond has been formed because of the very reason you are ending this, GSN. Ahh, the glass is half full rather than half empty after all. Stay well, A long time fan and follower.

As for the GSN live answers, there were some I was able to guess at, some I figured out because I've seen the episodes so many times and some I took a wild stab at. No big secret method there.
Oh Noooo! Say it isnt so!! I sure will miss you and think of you as a good friend who is faithfully there for me everyday. I thank you greatly for all you have done for all of us. I wish you the very best and hope you will drop a post once in awhile to let us know how you are doing. So long Rowdydog! Love ya!!

How do you play the trivia questions? Ive looked everywhere and still cant find where to play?
ReplyDeleteThanks Rowdydog for everything you have provided. It's a great way to get the answers quickly and not have to guess. I totally agree with you! GSN used to give away a lot of cool prizes and you could make Oodles in a lot of ways! Now they keep taking away the opportunities and give crap prizes. It's funny to see Bob Guiney get excited about giving away a $50 movie card. Anyway, thanks again for everything - it's been a fun ride. Good luck!!

It will be interesting to see how man of us follow your lead. I have been saving my oodles also because there hasn't been much of anything to get recently.

ReplyDeleteThanks! I started this program to earn $0.50 from some other site, and now I have earned a game of apple to apples, GSN may have taken the road to the grave, but at least post the answers for us who only need a few more oodles. (And i speak for quite a few people!)

ReplyDeleteThanks Rowdy, I have been following you for over a year now and have come to rely on your blog for the dwindling number of 10-pointers as well as the GSN Live answers when I haven't been able to watch. I started out saving for a TV when it seemed attainable and since late last year have collected several gift cards due in part to your assistance. I hope you can cash in some of your Oodles for decent prizes.

I thank you too! My days are numbered. It's been eight months and 250,000 OODLES for me with two crummy gifts just for the heck of it. Once I can get a decent gift with my balance, I'm out of here.
