At first, I would be afraid that they will shut you down, but in the end, it probably helps bring them more revenue from people viewing ads, and since they don't have too many oodle prizes, it is worth it for them.

ReplyDeleteI think as long as you don't post a link on their facebbook page you will be o.k. There has been people who did so with their oodle answer web pages and those web sites went away the next day. I would think that they got some sort of threatening correspondence from GSN that scared them to shut down. Does GSN have a legal leg to stand on? Not likely, but the cost of defending the lawsuit would make anyone give up. That's what GSN is counting on.
ReplyDeleteSince you can go anywhere on the web to look up the answers to the trivia questions, I don't think this is going to be a problem.
ReplyDeleteWhat? Are they going to tell Google or Wikipedia to shut down so people can't look up the answers?
This site is just like those except it collects all the answers in one easy place to look.
And, as you may notice, there are no paid ads on the site and I removed all the associate link ads (I wasn't making anything off them anyway). I profit in no way from this blog.
