Hey everyone,
I'm back home (got back in late yesterday).
First off, I want to give JT a big public "Thank You" for filling in for me. I couldn't have done it while I was away.
Second, I had a good time celebrating my birthday with my family. Of course, they all made their jokes and gave me gag gifts (does anyone out there need any Depends?). As I expected, I didn't get the Nook like I wanted. It looks like I will have to save up for it.
And last, my interview went well on Friday. They told me I should hear something one way or another before the end of the month. If I get the job, I will have to move to Dallas by the first of August. Thankfully, they will help with moving expenses. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
I'm glad to be home, though. I have a ton of emails to get caught up on (I didn't even check them while I was gone) and numerous Wonder Wheel spins (I wasn't going to subject JT to that).
I hope you all got tons of Oodles while I was gone. I'll keep you up-to-date on the possible move as I know more.

Hey, welcome back Rowdydog!!! Glad to hear that you had good time in Dallas & the interview went well for you. Will keep our fingers & toes crossed for you:) JT did a great job while you were gone. We are all very grateful for everything you both did!!!!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back Rowdydog!!! Happy to hear that you had a nice B-day. Hope that you get the job.
ReplyDeleteJT did an outstanding job. Thanks JT : )
As of today there is no more Chain Reaction Challenge Question. Another 10 oodles lost.
Glad you're baack and the interview went well. I don't know where you're moving from, but Dallas could be great, except they get too much weather for me (I'm east of Houston). I do like the cold weather tho'. Great Luck on the interview and thanks as always for the oodles stuff. I'm trying to save wonder wheels in case we get a bonus when 1,500,000 members......
ReplyDeleteThanks again.
good luck i hope you get the job
ReplyDeleteFirst, Welcome back and glad that you had a good trip for your Birthday. Second, Thanks JT for filling in, you did a great job. Third, Sorry if this sounds self serving, but if you get the job in Dallas will you still be doing the blog? Lastly, no matter what...good luck and thanks for the hard work.
ReplyDeleteJT did Great! And you are the Coolest for your OOD---Doodle support for us that can't always keep up with the Oodle demand... of scoring oodles.
ReplyDeleteI have wanted to thank you so many times before... I bet there are a lot of other people out there that feel the same way.
Thanks you so much!
Terterz
Hey....Good. Thats some fun time you had right there and a job interview? Wow...how glad you are. Thanks be to God though..
ReplyDeleteSo its two jobs now right? How demanding is it going to be, is it Rowdydog or the dallas job?
Rowdydog
ReplyDeletebest of luck to you

but how do i use the other answeres?
can you help me?

Welcome back, fingers crossed, and requests to deities of choice for your employment opportunity. JT did a fabulous job for which we are all grateful. My husband received a whole slew of gag gifts for his 40th including a cane that has actually come in useful for and injury. I am now contemplating a change in careers I am due for a change - but I am just trying to figure out wha I want to do when I grow up (I will be 51 in a few months).

Welcome back!
ReplyDeleteGood to hear all went well for you. Best wishes for a smooth transition into the new job.
Another public "Thank you" to your friend. I appreciate the help and his/her willingness to carry the torch in your absence.
Good luck with the job....hope you get it. I live in Fort Worth. I wished you a happy "early" birthday, but now I'm gonna wish you a "late" one. Thanks for everything.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back and Happy Belated Birthday!!! And many MORE!!!!! Glad you had a GREAT trip!!! Good luck on the job!!! Thanks JT for filling in!!!
ReplyDeleteWelcome home.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a good time and a good interview!!!

It was miserably hot in Dallas while I was there. They had their first 100 degree day on Saturday. It looks like summer came early.
ReplyDeleteAs far as I know, if I get the job and move to Dallas, I will still be doing this blog. I don't think it will be an issue. My work hours will be the same as they are now.
JT is recovering well. He had a couple of beers after he got home from work and then crashed. :-)
I'm so glad to have to you back Rowdy. I'm glad the interview went well and I wish you nothing but the best with this new job. I'm also glad you had a wonderful birthday with your family. YOU WERE SORELY MISSED BY ALL.
ReplyDeleteWarm regards,
Pearl Attias
best of luck to you in getting the job in Dallas! As for the weather, unfortunately, that's just the way it is down here. (I'm from Houston) We don't usually get much of a spring, and summer is long and hot, oh, and HUMID!!! That will be the big negative for you, but you do get used to it! :) praying that all works well for you!
ReplyDeleteRowdydog,
ReplyDelete1) Thank you for all you do with giving us answers for oodles.
2) Your roommate was great while you were gone.
3) I do wish you the best in getting that job in Texas...gonna be hot...(smile)
4) I usually celebrate my birthday for a couple of weeks, if you are still celebrating..Happy belated birthday, if not, happy belated birthday anyway...
Warm Regards,
Ressonyia
